Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her television debut breakthrough role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. Some of her notable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According to the reports, she's working with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, who wrote Immortals in the basis from Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. The upcoming television series Gods & Heroes is currently in production.
