Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She is an American Mexican actor. She sings as well. Her mother raised her throughout the USA she had to face numerous racial insults that made her feel being unwelcome. As she entered the 9th grade she began to feel more secure after being acknowledged by her teachers as a success for her performance at school's audition. This experience did not just help to boost her confidence, but also changed the direction she was heading in her life. She graduated from New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. When she was 23, she began her career making her debut on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films in You've got Mail. But her biggest break came when she appeared in the part in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway production of Spamalot winning not just her the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. In the following year, when she was Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC, she gained greater fame. As a well-known singer, she has also released a single as well as an extended play.
