Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actress. After her debut film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack member in WarGames 1982 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was a well-known part of this group. For her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Sheedy is an American actress, and author. She began her acting career with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of famous actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Following her first film was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is thought to be among the top high school film of all-time. Even though the budget of the film was only $1 million, its profits exceeded $50 million. While she was doing this the first time on TV, her television debut came in the form of CBS Schoolbreak. It was a program designed for teens and aired from April 1980. The actress also appeared in other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 for her work. She also received the with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
